Life Office Management Association (LOMA)
The Associate, Customer Service (ACS) designation is an entry level designation for those working in customer service in the financial services industry. ACS’s have an increased knowledge of financial services, allowing them to understand customers’ expectations and behaviors. The ACS educational track can also be tailored to each candidate’s career objectives, allowing further focus on delivering professional customer service and developing successful customer relationships. The ACS is appropriate for anyone who interacts with internal or external customers on a regular basis.
Those with the ACS designation find they earn more than those in the same position without a designation. In particular, the ACS designation is very helpful when first applying to positions in financial services and can help individuals show growth in their career aspects.
There are no prerequisites to begin this designation.
The ACS designation is a simple course-based program. Three required courses and two electives must be completed to earn the ACS designation.
There are three distinguished tracks tailored to specific career objectives. These tracks are available for:
Property & Casualty
There are no maintenance requirements for this designation.
Find more information about the courses, topics, and requirements for each track or see the brochure.
Please note that completed courses may be applied towards other designations from LOMA with few restrictions.
